Barry Roberts

Product & Engagement

Barry brings over 20 years of experience in understanding consumer shopping motivations and turning these into impactful retail shopper strategies for some of the nations’ top tier consumer brands, such as Colgate-Palmolive, Unilever and Coca-Cola. In his role as Senior Vice President, Product & Engagement, Barry is focused on driving the overall vision and strategy for our end-to-end omnichannel consumer experience, which encompasses online shopping, multi-channel engagement and personalized support.

Prior to Sapphire Digital, Barry held a General Manager level position at Colgate-Palmolive, leading Retail Shopper Solutions. He established the Shopper Marketing organization as a new discipline, and held responsibility for e-Commerce and Category Management. In 2016 Barry was inducted into the Path to Purchase Institute “Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame” and in 2017, his team’s work received the Effie Shopper Marketing Effectiveness Award.

Barry received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Oxford Brookes University in the UK, as well as a Diploma in Accounting Studies.
